The picture of 1916 shows a part of the school yard of Helmholtzschule as can be seen from the main building's backside. It was made during a gym presentation on the occasion of Sedanstag on 2 September 1916. Pupils and teachers are performing while a crowd of other pupils, teachers and parents is watching.

Das Foto aus dem Jahr 1916 zeigt einen Teil des Schulhofes. Es wurde aus dem Hauptgebäude heraus während einer Turnvorführung aufgenommen, die anlässlich des Sedanstages am 2. September 1916 stattfand. Schüler und Lehrer führen die Übungen vor, während andere Schüler, Lehrer und Eltern zuschauen.
