Summary edit

Description
English: Old photo of statue "Orphée endormant Cerbère" ("Orpheus singing Cerberus to sleep") by Henri Peinte. Front view, possibly of plaster version, apparently in the artist's studio or yard. A bronze nude version stands in the Jardin Public, Cambrai, France. Smaller reproductions invariably depict Orpheus wearing a loincloth.
This is a retouched picture, which means that it has been digitally altered from its original version. Modifications: Brightness and contrast adjusted; jpeg artifact removal; minor spot removal; converted from sepia original to greyscale png. Modifications made by Lee M. The original can be found here: [1];.
