Arms of John Curzon Moore-Stephens Esq., JP, DL, MP, of Winscott House, who had the church rebuilt in 1865. The arms depicted here are blazoned somewhat differently by Fox-Davies, A Directory of Gentlemen of Coat Armour: Quarterly, 1st & 4th, Per chevron argent and gules, in chief two falcons rising proper belled and charged on the breast with an ermine-spot (Stevens); 2nd & 3rd: Sable, a swan wings elevated argent beaked and membered or within a bordure engrailed quarterly of the last and second (Moore) |
