English: Hessle Road Flyover, Hull, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Principally the bridge takes road traffic across the railway line, the arches being part of the build-up to the railway bridge. The piece of road shown in the photograph is the historical route of Hessle Road, the engineering technique being to build a bridge alongside the existing road, and then divert the traffic. |
