| Description |
English: Highgate tube station, Southbound low-level platform. Constructed directly underneath the now derelict high-level platforms shown in 18919. These platforms are unique on the Northern line being long enough to accommodate nine-car trains, they were built to this length in anticipation of future extensions at other stations which along with plans to extend the line northwards were later abandoned. |
