Summary edit

Description
English: Highland Cows. Scottish Highland Cattle are the oldest known cattle breed. Despite their long horns, they are gentle and easily handled. It is quite common for tourists to be found petting them but it is not recommended as they do get annoyed with it! The dossan (the shaggy hair which falls down between their eyes) is there to protect their eyes and makes them look quite cute! They are known for their gentle disposition, their ability to withstand adverse weather conditions and adaptability to a variety of climates especially the harsh, cold climates where other cattle breeds might not survive.
