English: Hikers departing from the eponymous Douglas Fir of Big Tree Trail, Mountaineers Foundation's Rhododendron Preserve, Bremerton, Washington, U.S. This is said to be the largest tree on land that the public may visit in Kitsap County, Washington. The platform around part of the tree was built in 2022 to better accommodate an increasing number of hikers.
