English: Hillside track north of Candleston castle Looking south west down a rough farm track, serving also as a footpath, which runs up the eastern slope of a valley passing through the west of the grid square.(The footpath/track, incidentally, appears to take a slightly different course to that indicated on Ordnance Survey map, running up the hillside in a north-easterly direction.)The photograph also shows some of the fine array of woodland in the west of the square. |
