Description

Robert Edolph son of Sir Robert Edolph and Elizabeth née Robotham. He married Cicily Browne and had 3 sons and one daughter, however they all died young. After his death in 1631 aged 36 she married Sir Francis Knolles, of Reading, and she forfeited the Edolph estates which were left to her.

The memorial, which was erected in 1632, is in very good condition as it was plastered over to save it during the civil war, and only rediscovered in the 18th Century.
