Description
English: Single lamp post lantern. One of the approximately 100 historic cast-iron street lampposts which were designated as landmarks by the New York City Landmarks Preservation Commission in 1997. (Source: Guide to NYC Landmarks (4th ed.)) This ornamental post is located in Colonel Charles Young Triangles, a park formed by Macombs Place, Adam Clayton Powell Jr. Boulevard and West 153rd Street, in the Harlem neighborhood of Manhattan.
