English: For local tourism enthusiasts Homa Hills is an affordable and rewarding experience. We went for a four hour hike and picnic with some friends during which time we climbed a total of five hills and discovered cows and goats grazing at their peaks. We had the pleasure of seeing some breathtaking views of the Nam Lolwe (the lake victoria) atop these hills. The breeze is refreshing. The shrub and bush is thick but filled with birds. be sure to wear strong shoes with grips and bring a bottle of water and a local guide. We lost one of our team members during the trip but regrouped at the bottom of the hills where we took a ride back home. It is a quiet and serene little town with a sparse population but beautiful and memorable terrain.
