Drawing and allegorical commentary directed to acknowledge the efforts and victories of the French navy during the War of American Independence (1776-1783) and has regained its honor and power after defeats in the Seven Years War (1755 - 1763).

"Forcé de rendre hommage à la valeur, Neptune offre à la France l'empire de la mer..." Dessin et commentaire allégorique, réalisé pour souligner les efforts et les victoires de la marine royale pendant la Guerre d'Indépendance américaine (1776-1783) et qui a retrouvé son honneur et sa puissance après les défaites de la Guerre de Sept Ans (1755-1763).
