Description
English: Hop twine. Large balls of twine in the hop garden at Brenley Corner 350439 awaiting the stringer. Stringing the hops (hooking a network of twine to the wires for the hop bines to twine around) used to be done by a chap on stilts but the way this hop garden is wired that method can't be used and the stringer was working with a long pole.
