Deutsch: Hornecker Altar von 1582. Das altarartige Gedenkbild erinnert an die Gründung der Deutschordenskommende Horneck im Jahr 1250. Im Mittelpunkt des Triptychons steht die Madonna, der zu Ehren die Stiftung erfolgte. Rechts neben der stilisierten Burg Horneck ist der Stifter der Kommende, Konrad von Horneck, mit seinem Sohn zu sehen. Ihm gegenüber kniet der Auftraggeber des Bildes, Deutschmeister Ulrich von Lentersheim mit einem Begleiter (alle tragen Ordensmäntel). Das Original befindet sich auf der Veste Heldburg. |
