English: House and Garden in St Fillans village, Perthshire One of a number of larger properties from an earlier era when St Fillans was a popular resort for the well-to-do - aided by the fact that the Perth to Oban railway passed along Loch Earn providing a convenient station stop in the centre of St Fillans. Dr Beeching put a stop to all this in the mid 1960s. The line used to run behind this property, at the edge of the wood. |
