Español: Armas de la casa de Lara: De plata con dos calderas de sable (negro) puestas en palo.
Las armas con el campo de plata y las calderas negras, fueron usadas por los Lara desde la aparición de los símbolos heráldicos en el siglo XII y así consta en los armoriales del Rey de Armas del título de Aragón, Garci Alonso de Torres y del heraldista catalán Steve Tamborino, según recoge la Heráldica Castellana de Martín de Riquer. Los auténticos colores del escudo se encuentran documentados en la tesis de A. Sánchez de Mora(p.409), en las obras de Francisco Piferrer(p.21), Martín de Riquer(p.211), Simon R. Doubleday(p.55), Eduardo Pardo de Guevara(pp.13 y 33),y en el artículo de Faustino Menéndez Pidal(p.117). |
