Summary edit

Description
English: Jason Slaughter, a Canadian-born, Amsterdam-based urban planning content creator from the YouTube channel "Not Just Bikes", narrates about the urban planning and development of Amsterdam in the late 20th century. Originally, the city would be redesigned with highways for cars, but instead chose to make the bicycle its primary mode of transportation. 'In the 1960s, it seemed clear that the future was the car. Amsterdam had its own plans about how to make the city more car-friendly. Some of these plans failed, others only partially. Discover how radically different Amsterdam might have been had these plans succeeded.'
