| Description |
English: Hull Bridge, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Looking northeast from the footbridge towards the Crown & Anchor pub. The county council rebuilt the old Hull Bridge as a footbridge in 1976 after completion of the new A1035 road bridge (left of picture). The hamlet of Hull Bridge gets its name from the fact that there has been a bridge over the River Hull here for hundreds of years. Inscribed stones from the old bridge are incorporated in the footbridge brickwork showing it was previously rebuilt in 1803 and again in 1914. |
