Tittel / Title: Hundesleder, antakelig på vei gjennom det som ble kalt "Djevelbreen" på ferden til Sydpolen. Motiv / Motif: Dette området var svært ulendt, og man måtte stadig gå lange omveier for å komme frem. Selve ferden fra Framheim til polpunktet og tilbake tok 99 dager og omtrent 3000 km ble tilbakelagt.
