Description A Hawker Hurricane Mark IID (BP188, ‘JV-Z), of ‘B’ Flight, No. 6 Squadron RAF, based at Shandur, Egypt, in flight. Two 40mm Vickers anti-tank cannon are fitted under each wing. These anti-tank aircraft were nicknamed "Flying Can Openers".
