Description
English: On April 13, 1903 the city of Hutchinson secured $12,500 from Andrew Carnegie to build the Hutchinson Free Public Library. Plans were prepared by Minneapolis architect Edward.S Stebbins. The 1904 library is noted for its Neoclassical architecture and role in the intellectual and cultural life of Hutchinson.
