Español: iglesia Sto. Domingo.Comitan es una ciudad situada en el sur de país, su nombre significa lugar de alfareros (komitl-tlan), es uno de los municipios más importantes del estado de Chiapas, es considerada como ciudad colonial por sus construcciones y su historia. Esta muy cerca de la frontera con Guatemala, su clima es templado y se caracteriza por sus regionalismos, su gastronomía y por la calidez de su gente. Ya somos este año 2012, Ciudad Cultural. Un atractivo turístico es la iglesia de Santo Domingo de Guzmán, situado en el centro de la ciudad, patrono del lugar y se festeja el 4 de agosto con la feria del pueblo. Y es uno de los atractivos turísticos y más referidos en el mundo. La fuente que lo decora lo acompaña en la fotografía que viaja a muchos cientos de kilómetros de este paraíso cultural e histórico.
