Italiano: Milano. Il minuscolo "vicolo Laghetto", sul fianco dell'attuale Università Statale, ricorda nel nome, come l'adiacente via Laghetto il porto fluviale su cui in passato sboccava. Anche i marmi per costruire il Duomo di Milano furono trasportati per via acqua dal Lago Maggiore fino a questo porticciolo. Foto di Giovanni Dall'Orto, 21-2-2007.
English: Milan. The short "vicolo Laghetto" (Pool Alley) preserves in its name the memory of the adjacent (former) fluvial harbour. All of the stones to build the huge Cathedral were transported by water from Lake Maggiore to this small harbour. Picture by Giovanni Dall'Orto, February 21 2007.
