English: Icehouse Citadel. All that remains of the Salvation Army "Icehouse Citadel" at No.61 Anlaby Road is this crumbling step at the end of the passageway by the derelict New York pub. The site of the demolished building can be seen here: 1223370 The citadel on Anlaby Road, Hull, was first registered in 1883 and closed in 1989 when the Salvation Army moved to Walker Street. After that the building suffered a serious fire and has since been demolished. |
