Description
English: The Iglesia de Santa Ana (Church of Saint Anna) is located on Praça Jacinto d'Ayet, Albufeira old town in the Algarve, Portugal. This church was built in the 18 century and contains several notable ecclesiastical works of art. They include a carved wooden statue of Christ crucified on the altarpiece of Our Lady of Sorrows. The main alter has a carved alterpiece which is attributed jointly to Joao Baptista Gueldelha and Francisco Xavier.
