Trains at Ilford station. Unidentified InterCity train at either platform 1 or 2, Class 306 EMU at platform 4 and unknown DMU at platform 5. This was filmed circa the early 1980's on a Sunday when BR was changing over the power supply from 6.25kV to 25kV and only diesel powered trains could travel between London Liverpool Street station and Ilford station. Unfortunately platform 5 is no longer used and both sets of tracks seen here have been removed. |
