activity of transposable elements in the genomes of two species of bats

Summary edit

Description
English: Within the order of Chiroptera, the taxon 1 (Vespertilionidae family) has a RRS (+) if compared with taxon2 and species with putatively hot genomes; the taxon 2 (Pteropodidae family) has a RRS (-) if compared with taxon1 and species with putatively cold genomes. The density of recent insertions (Y axis) caused by transposable elements (Number of TE/Genome size) are estimated and compared between two species belonging to their respective taxon (X axis).
