INA CLAIRE is the leading high comedienne of the American theater. In her late teens she was a musical comedy star, beginning with The Quaker Girl. She was a Belasco star in comedy for some years, and made several silent pictures over a decade ago. Her first talkie was "The Awful Truth." Born in Washington, D. C., October 15, 1892, her real name is Ina Fagan. She is 5 Feet 4, weighs 120 and has blonde hair and hazel eyes. After divorcing her fiest husband, James Whittaker, she married John Gilbert in May, 1929.
