Description
English: A model of Indian Navy first Aircraft Carrier INS Vikrant was dedicated to the city of Mumbai at Regal Circle, Colaba on 10 June 2022 by Shri Bhagat Singh Koshyari, Hon’ble Governor of Maharashtra in the presence of Vice Admiral Ajendra Bahadur Singh CINC WNC and other distinguished guests. The ship’s model installed next to the iconic Gateway of India and Naval Dockyard, Mumbai in association with the Residents Association, ‘My Dream Colaba’ and ‘CALM', supported by Advocate Makarand Narvekar, highlights the contribution of the Indian Navy in safeguarding the maritime frontiers of the nation and showcases the strong bond with the city of Mumbai.
