Català: Diagrama il·lustratiu d'una terrassa agrícola de l'Imperi Inca, amb les mesures habituals (en metres) de cada farciment, inclinació de la terrassa i dels murs.
Característiques de la construcció

A. Bon treball de pedra, però no polit. B. Sòl fosc i ric, ben desenvolupat. C. Lleugerament inclinat des del darrere fins al mur de la terrassa. D. El frontal de la terrassa sobresurt lleugerament. E. Els orificis de drenatge en la cara frontal del mur dirigeixen l'escolament a un desguàs estable. F. Fragments rocosos tals com la roca mare, el pedruscall i altra runa emprats com a farciment. G. Normalment tenen barraques d'emmagatzematge i un vilatge a prop.

H. És poc freqüent trobar-ne d'individuals, sovint són contínues les unes a les altres.

Characteristics of Contruction
A. Good stone work but not polished.
B. Well developed dark rich soil medium.
C. Sloped from back to face of terrace.
D. Small "lip" on edge.
E. Drainage holes in wall face direct runoff to stable outfall.
F. Rock fragments and local material on site used in fill.
G. Usually accompanied by storage buildings and a pueblo.
H. Come in multiples not usually one terrace solo.
