Description
English: Based on a request received from District Administration for assistance in the SAR of five persons reported missing off Pudimadaka Beach, Ankapalle on 29 July 2022, the Indian Navy pressed into service a helicopter from INS Dega and two FIC for the search Operation this morning. The helicopter crew has been able to locate two bodies till now and they have been recovered by Marine Police. ICGS Ayush and a ICG helicopter have also been deployed for the operation. The search for remaining three missing persons continues.
