Description
English: 200 personnel of the ENC participated in a beach cleanup campaign "Sagara Teera Swatchata - Keep Vizag Beaches Clean" organised by the District Administration at various beaches of the city on 15 May 2022. The participation of Indian Navy personnel is in consonance with the national vision of One Ocean and Swachh Bharat Abhiyan. The event was organised to undertake cleanup of beaches littered by human and nature's intervention, wherein plastic/ non-biodegradable waste from the coast was collected and handed over to GVMC staff for further disposal.
