Infotafel am Haus Werthmannstraße 4 in Freiburg mit Inschrift: Werthmannhaus, 1882 erbaut und 1906 zum "Parkhotel Hecht" umgestaltet. 1924 bis 1969 Zentrale des Deuteschen Caritasverbandes. Seither im Besitz der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität, Freiburg. Benannt nach Lorenz Werthmann (1858 - 1921), dem Gründer des weltweit ersten Caritasverbandes am 9. November 1897 in Freiburg.

Gestiftet von der Stadt Freiburg zum 100jährigen Jubiläum des Deutschen Caritasverbandes.
