Summary edit

Description The Hindola-Mahal gets its name for the swings once installed from the ceiling in this large audience hall for the amusement of the Sultan and his harem. The ceiling was open so they could apparently swing in the cooling rain during monsoon season. The second level was where the ladies could view the audience proceedings without being observed.
