English: Supplementary Movie 3 CA*β1 expressing cell divides apically and daughter cells re-extend a basal process. One cell is identified via a yellow arrow. This cell migrates to the apical surface (bottom of frame) to divide. After division the daughter cells (yellow arrows) migrate basally and re-extend a basal process each (smaller yellow arrowheads), reaching the basal surface. The apical processes of the daughter cells are also observed, attached to the apical surface. The time between each frame is 5 minutes. |
