Description
English: This tobacco shed is the only original structure in the open air museum, re-erected from the Piketberg region and dates to the turn of the 19th century. Built of clay with a low roof of Cape bulrush (Typha capensis) and with no windows. The doors were made of bamboo to allow for ventilation.
This media shows a South African Protected Site with SAHRA file reference 9/2/110/0006.
