  • Photograph of the interior of church at Cibolleta, Mission San Juan Franciscian, Cibola County, New Mexico, ca.1898.
  • The altar can be seen at center set behind a rail and is surrounded by flowers and candlesticks. Four steps lead to the altar. A statue stands in each of two alcoves flanking the altar. :*Many framed pictures topped with crosses hang on the walls. A keyboard instrument and several chairs sit on the floor near the sole pew at right. Rugs cover part of the floor. Ornately carved rafters are visible above.
