English: Newsreels in which Dutch subjects of a certain week are presented.
The IFAP, an international organization for agriculturists, holds a conference in Scheveningen to discuss the worl food problem. Before the conference an excursion is held through to inform the conference participants about the state of affairs in the agricultural field in the Netherlands. In the Ridderzaal in The Hague they're officially adressed by the minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food Supplies, S.L. Mansholt, an the chairman of the IFAP, J. Turner. SHOTS: - shots that illustrate the poor food situation; - excursion: the company looks at an orchard and cattle in a field; visits Staphorst and has a typical coffee meal from Drente in Emmen; - int. Ridderzaal and speeches by Mansholt and Turner.

De IFAP, een internationale organisatie van landbouwers, houdt in Scheveningen een congres om het wereldvoedselprobleem te bespreken. Vóór het congres is er voor de congresdeelnemers een excursie door Nederland om zich op de hoogte te stellen van de stand van zaken op landbouwkundig gebied. In de Ridderzaal te Den Haag worden ze officieel toegesproken door de minister van Landbouw, Visserij en Voedselvoorziening, S.L. Mansholt, en de voorziter van de IFAP, J. Turner. SHOTS: - beelden die de gebrekkige voedselsituatie illustreren; - excursie: het gezelschap bekijkt een boomgaard en vee in een wei; bezoekt Staphorst en gebruikt in Emmen een Drentse koffiemaaltijd; - int.
