Description
English: Intersection of Queen Street and Yonge Street in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, looking west. The Simpsons department store (now Hudson's Bay) is on the left, while the Jamieson Building (completed in 1895, also known by the name of its later occupant, Woolworth's) is on the right. Both buildings still exist, although the Simpsons building was significantly expanded (including a westward expansion along Queen Street West, the site of which is shown as treed in this image) and the Jamieson building was incorporated into the Toronto Eaton Centre.
