Description
  • Motiv: Externes Speicherlaufwerk vom Typ jaz 2 GB der Firma iomega. Mit diesem Speicherlaufwerk können bis zu 2 GB unkomprimierte Daten auf einer jaz-Disk gespeichert werden. Mit dem Vorläufer dieses Gerätes konnte 1 GB auf einer jaz-Disk gespeichert werden. Sowohl Laufwerk als auch Medium der 1 und 2 GB-Variante unterscheiden sich. Die 2 GB-Variante ist in der Lage auch 1 GB-Disks zu lesen. Allerdings können diese nicht in einem 2 -Laufwerk formatiert werden. Die Abmessungen des Laufwerks betragen ca. 132 mm × 213 mm × 39 mm. Das Gerät kann über eine SCSI-Schnittstelle an einen Computer angeschlossen werden. Es verfügt über zwei Taster zum Einstellen der SCSI-ID sowie einen Schalter um die SCSI-Kette zu terminieren.
