Copie de l'information sur le cartel de l'œuvre : Un prince en trône est encadré par deux dignitaires et, sur le pourtour, de jeux équestres. Par la maîtrise de la polychromie, cette coupe offre un reflet de la peinture de manuscrit, malheureusement presque disparue pour cette période. Elle illustre parfaitement l’effervescence des recherches techniques (association de couleurs obtenues grâce à des cuissons successives, effets de relief) et artistiques : le dossier du trône montre un essai de rendu de profondeur.
