עברית: נשיא המדינה יצחק הרצוג, בתדרוך לשגרירים מרחבי העולםשגרירים המכהנים בישראל והסגל הדיפלומטי אשר מייצגים יחד למעלה מ-80 מדינות ברחבי העולם. התדרוך נערך במקום קבלת הפנים המסורתית לשנה החדשה אשר מתקיימת מידי שנה, ועל רקע המלחמה המתמשכת נגד ארגון הטרור חמאס בעזה. עיקר התדרוך עסק במצב הנוכחי בישראל, לצד הסיוע ההומניטרי שישראל מעניקה לעזה. נשיא המדינה ציין בדבריו כי ישראל מוכנה לקיים הפוגה הומניטרית נוספת בתמורה לשחרור החטופים. הנשיא הדגיש כי האחריות המלאה לדבר מוטלת על סינוואר והנהגת חמאס. עוד הדגיש, כי ישראל אינה במלחמה עם העם הפלסטיני, אלא במלחמה מול האויב, שהוא ארגון הטרור חמאס. בתוך כך, קרא הנשיא לארגונים בינלאומיים לפעול יותר במטרה להקל על העברת הסיוע לעזה. במהלך התדרוך סקר גם אלוף-משנה אלעד גורן, ראש המחלקה האזרחית במתפ״ש ובמסגרת דבריו שיתף במאמצים המתמשכים למתן סיוע הומניטרי לתושבי עזה. יום שלישי, ז' בטבת תשפ"ד, 19 בדצמבר 2023. קרדיט צילום: עמוס בן גרשום/לע"מ.
