English: Isaac Parker, based in Seattle, Washington, USA in the late 19th century, master mechanic, involved with shipping (including to Japan). Not, to my knowledge, any relation to the somewhat famous "hanging judge" of the same name. He was the first to send Pacific Northwest lumber to Asia (1860). Elected treasurer of Seattle in 1888. |
