Description
Deutsch: Junges Weibchen der Großen Pechlibelle (Ischnura elegans f. rufescens) im Ahlenmoor, nördliches Niedersachsen. Die weiblichen Jungtiere der Großen Pechlibelle treten in zwei unterschiedlichen Farbmorphen auf, hier die forma rufescens. Sie wird sich mit Eintreten der Geschlechtsreife zur Altersform infuscans-obsoleta entwickeln, einer der drei möglichen Farbmorphen der Altersform.
English: Immature female of the Blue-tailed Damselfly (Ischnura elegans f. rufescens) in the Ahlenmoor, a peatland in northern Lower Saxony, Germany. The immature females of Blue-tailed Damselflies occur in two morphs, here the forma rufescens. It will develop with the onset of sexual maturity to old age form infuscans-obsoleta, one of three possible morphs of age form.
