| Description |
English: Island vegetation. What you might expect to see on the island in Loch Borralie, can't guarantee the peewits though! There are marsh marigolds, various docks, and flowering meadowsweet. Compare this vegetation with that in 1122556 where rabbits, sheep and cattle have reduced the diversity of vegetation. The island also provides ground nesting birds with protection against mammalian predators. The stretch of shore seen here is about 4 metres long. |
