Veue et Perspective du dedans du Palais d'Orléans
Description
English: First published in 1649 in a set of 11 architectural views, several depicting the Palais d'Orléans (Luxembourg Palace) in Paris (see Faucheux). The entrance screen has been omitted to show the courtyard facades. According to Faucheux, Jean Marot engraved the architecture, and Stefano della Bella, the figures, after a drawing by Israel Silvestre.
