English: iss070e027906 (Nov. 19, 2023) --- The night lights of Mexico City, the capital and largest city of Mexico with a population of 9.2 million, are pictured from the International Space Station as it orbited 260 miles above the central American nation. At far left, the well-lit Felipe Ángeles International Airport is easily observable from low-Earth orbit. The large, dark area at center top, is Lake Texcoco Ecological Park. The dark area just below, is the Sierra de Guadalupe mountain range.
