Italie et Allemagne oeuvre de Friedrich Overbeck (1789-1869) 1828 Huile sur toile F. Overbeck appartenait au Groupe des Nazaréens. Riche de plus de deux cents oeuvres, l’exposition propose une réflexion autour des grands thèmes structurant la pensée allemande de 1800 à 1939. Elle replace la production artistique et les artistes, de Caspar David Friedrich à Paul Klee, de Philipp Otto Runge à Otto Dix, dans le contexte intellectuel de leur création et les confronte aux écrits des grands penseurs, au premier rang desquels figure Goethe. |
