Summary edit
DescriptionIziko Jaws of Great White Shark.JPG |
English: Carcharodon carcharias. The terrifying jaws of the largest carnivorous fish in the world, the great white shark, reveal why this man-eater is so feared by humans. The relatively small size of this set of jaws still shows the large triangular teeth designed for cutting and tearing. A particularly large specimen, whose jaws are kept at the British Museu, measured 11m and a single tooth was 6.6cm long. |
