Summary edit

Description
English: Technicians from the Rocketdyne Division of Boeing North American in Canoga Park, Calif., remove components of a 1960s J-2 rocket engine that has been displayed at the John C. Stennis Visitors Center for more than 10 years. Some usable parts of the Apollo-era engine will be used for testing of Rocketdyne's aerospike engine for the X-33 program. Five J-2 engines were used on the second stage of the huge Saturn V rockets that took American astronauts to the moon.
